Thank You, Edward
In honor of International Human Rights Day in December of last year, we asked supporters of Edward Snowden to send us messages of support for the whistleblower. We went on to project some of those messages on the First Amendment tablet of the Newseum, a Washington, DC institution that celebrates freedom of expression.
We were overwhelmed by the warmth and gratitude expressed in those messages, and wanted to make sure that Ed would see even those that didn't make it onto the Newseum. To that end, we put together a book to share with him. A number of generous illustrators contributed artwork they created especially for this purpose.
You can view the book below in PDF form. We've also sent a copy to the President Obama, along with the more than 1 million signatures asking him to pardon Edward Snowden.
